Cell Treatment

Perforations and/or slots within the honeycomb are most common in brazed or bonded structures to allow for venting (outgas). Performance between the two is driven by end usage. Typical perforations are 0.030” diameter with the slots being 0.020” x 0.020” or larger although our unique manufacturing allows for various options. Perforations can be arranged anywhere along the thickness of the honeycomb and slots may be at the top, bottom or both ends. Perforations and slots are available across all cell configurations.
